How DeWind Does It

  • One-Pass Installation: The Well Riser (Sump) is installed using DeWind’s One-Pass Trencher at the designated location. Then, the well Sump is released and the trencher operator starts trenching while simultaneously backfilling the trench using engineered spec aggregate material – while at the same time laying a slotted HDPE collection pipe at the bottom of the trench.This seamless process occurs under the water table without open excavations.

Shallow Aquifer Tapping: The horizontal slotted pipe extends over significant lengths at depths of up to 50 feet. This maximizes water capture from shallow aquifers all while avoiding the need for filtration.
